Navigating Cybersecurity Changes in Wealth Management

“The Deep Dive” host Jay Hummel talks with Mark Hurley, CEO of Digital Privacy & Protection, about the pivotal role of cybersecurity in wealth management. Recent SEC proposals are set to reshape regulations, and may require 48-h൲our breach reporting and detailed client disclosures.

While wealth managers may feel hesitant to be involved in their clients’ cybersecurity, Hurley emphasizes the benefits, especially as hackers may target not only wealth managers’ clients but also wealth managers themselves. Digital Privacy & Protection's efficient protocols facilitate quick client assessments and updates, ensuring effective defense strategies.

In the evolving landscape of wealth management, cybersecurity is no longer a secondary concern but rather a key aspect of safeguardi𒆙ng client assets.
