Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA) shares rose about 1% Friday after U.K. financial services group Legal & General agreed to a 4.8 billion pound (approximately $6 billion) buy-in for the Boots Pension scheme, paving the way for a possible sale of the British pharmacy.
