A professional writer and editor, Levi Davis began his journalism career shortly after moving to New York City in 2006. Originally a generalist in nature, or in aspiration, he🥀 quickly developed an expertise in financial journalism, writing articles for several Institutional Investor Intelligence publications, including ones covering real estate finance, energy finance, securitization, and institutional asset management.

Levi previously worked as managing editor of two of Institutional Investor Intelligence's trade publications simultaneously. He still works as a writer, editor and professional curious person for various clients.

Levi received his bachelor's from UC Davis with a degree in sociology and earned his master's degree in journalism from UC Davis
