Apple (AAPL) returned Epic Games' "Fortnite" to its U.S. App Store on Tuesday, five years after it removed the popular video game from iPhones and iPads in the country.

The game maker said the multiplayer shooting game is also now available in the Epic Games Store and AltStore in the 澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果体彩网:European Union (EU).

"Fortnite is BACK on the App Store in the U.S. on iPhones and iPads... and on the Epic Games Store and AltStore in the E.U! It'll show up in Search soon!" the company wrote in an X post. 

The news comes just days after Epic Games said Apple had 澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果体彩网:blocked its submission to return to the App Store domestically and Epic Games Store internationally.

The game maker had submitted its bid to have "Fortnite" relisted on the App Store after a judge 澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果体彩网:ruled earlier this month that Ap🎶𓄧ple had violated an antitrust order. "Fortnite" was removed from Apple's App Store in 2020 after Epic Games made updates to avoid the tech giant's commissions.

Apple shares, which had lost 17% of their value so far this year entering Wednesday, edged lower in premarket trading. Apple didn't immediately return a request for comment.
