U.S. stock futures are pointing lower after the OECD cut its U.S. and global growth outlooks over tariff concerns and uncertainty; Dollar General (DG) shares are jumping in premarket trading after it reported better-than-expected results and raised its guidance; General Motors (GM), Ford Motor (F) and Stellantis (STLA) shares are in focus after dropping Monday on President Donald Trump's plans to double U.S. steel tariffs; and Palantir Technologies (PLTR) shares h൩it a record high for a second straight session yesterday. 1. US ♎Stock Futures Point Lower on Weakened Economic Outl🧸ook

The Organis🌺ation for Economic Co-operation 𒉰and Development (OECD) on Tuesday 澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果体彩网:sharplyꦯ lowered its growth forecasts for the U.S., citing an increasingly challenging world outlook due to the fallout from tariffs and policy uncertainty. The OECD said it expects the U.S.'s annual real 澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果体彩网:gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate to fall to 1.6% in 2025 and 1.5% in 2026 from 2.8% in 2024. In March, the OECD had forecast U.S. growth at 2.2% this year and 1.6% next year. The OECD also cut its forecasts for global GDP growth to 2.9% this year and next from 3.3% in 2024, assuming tariff rates as of mid-May are left unchanged.

3. Dollar General Stock Jumps on Discount Retailer's Q1 Results, Outlook Lift

Dollar General (DG) shares are jumping 11% in premarket trading after the discount retailer reported better-than-expected first-q👍uart♏er results and raised its full-year outlook. The company reported 澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果体彩网:earnings per share (EPS) of $1.78 on net sales that increased 5% year-over-year to $10.44 billion. 澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果体彩网:Analysts surveyed by Visible Alpha had projected $1.47 and $10.26 billion, respectively. The company raised the floor of its full-year EPS forecast by 10🅺 cents to a range of $5.20 to $5.80 and increased its net sales growꩵth projection to 3.7% to 4.7% from 3.4% to 4.4%.

Palantir Technologies (PLTR) hit a record high for the 澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果体彩网:second straight session Monday as investor optimism over the AI-powered analytics software provider continued to drive the company's share price higher. Palantir shares rose 0.2% to close Monday at $132.04 after 澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果体彩网:surging nearly 8% Friday. The stock has doubled since hitting its early-April low and is up 75% since the start of the year. The surge comes as the federal government has integrated a Palantir product called Foundry into at least four agencies, The New York Times reported Friday. Palantir shares are ticking higher in premarket trading.
