1. US Stock Futures Fall on China's Retaliatory Tariffs

U.S. stock futures are dropping after China announced retaliatory tariffs on U.S. imports. 2. Trump's 'Liberation Day' Tariffs Take Effect

Cal-Maine Foods (CALM) shares are down 5% in premarket trading after the largest U.S. eggs producer announced it was cooperating with a Justice Department investigation into egg prices. "Management cannot predict the eventual scope, duration or outcome of this investigation and is unable to estimate the amount or range of potential losses, if any, at this time," the company said. Cal-Maine Foods reported that its 澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果体彩网:earnings per share (EPS) more than tripled year-over-year to $10.38 and revenue more than doubled to $1.42 billion as egg prices soared.

5. Microsoft Overtakes Apple as World's Most Valuable Company

Apple (AAPL) shares' recent plummet over tariff worries has knocked the iPhone maker from its position as the澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果体彩网: 𒐪world's most valuable public comp♒any. After its share price fell 23% over the past four sessions, Apple's market capitalization dropped to around $2.59 trillion to fall behind Microsoft's (MSFT) market cap of $2.64 trillion. Much of the production of Apple products comes from nations subject to Trump's tariffs, including China and India. Apple shares are 2% lower in premarket trading while Microsoft stock is down 1.7%.
